THE PROJECT
The project seeks to implement the best principles of the constructive-technological culture.
Philosophical and esoteric models of sustainable design were used in building a contemporary home.
The overall design provides to reduced environmental impact and strict adherence to the demands and needs of the client, rather than only being in compliance with the requirements of the standard for optimization of energy consumption (which need compact, S / V ratio decreased, no overhangs, etc.).
The property was built with the use of different construction materials: cement, steel and wood, to optimize its performance without using a predefined structural model.
The energy model of the Passive House has been reviewed in a pragmatic way in light of the temperate zone and seismic area.
The predominate use of mechanical equipment based on the maximum possible use of passive inputs, integrated with the self-produced electricity from a photovoltaic system of the latest generation, and the use of other renewable energy. The building meets the criteria of environmental sustainability and bio architecture, without having to use vernacular architectural materials and manufacturing solutions.
We have tried to give all the requirements described in the title with measured responses and, where possible, verifiable, so shun the idea of the certificate as the only guarantee of the actual performance of a building product.
